SkySafe, an airspace security company based in San Diego, California, has received an order for an anti-drone solution from an Asian country, its sixth contract award from the region.
The anti-drone system uses advanced radio frequency technology, reverse engineering and deep threat analysis, enabling the operator to pinpoint the location of both the airborne drone and its pilot. “We’re proud to be continuously recognized as a technology leader by our military allies,” SkySafe founder and CEO Grant Jordan said.
Besides its anti-drone system, SkySafe also provides the Covert Forensic Imaging Device in partnership with SCG Canada. Law enforcers and forensic experts use the device to generate data required for the prosecution of malicious drone pilots.
The SkySafe forensic solution has been tapped by the Federal Aviation Administration’s UAS Detection and Mitigation Testing and Evaluation Program.
