Christine Zeitz Announces Departure From Northrop Grumman Australia

Christine Zeitz is stepping down from her position as chief executive and general manager of Northrop Grumman Australia by the end of September.

The defense contractor confirmed her upcoming retirement in a LinkedIn post on Thursday.

“In the four years since Christine joined NGA, she has driven our development as a business, established a robust strategy for the future, introduced a new and efficient operating model, and significantly improved our reputation as a defense partner of choice,” the company said.

Before Northrop Grumman, Zeitz spent over four years of service as a Leidos Australia chief executive. Previously, she held the role of vice president and managing director of Lockheed Martin Australia and president of BAE Systems for northeast Asia.

In her own LinkedIn post, the veteran defense industry leader shared that her next focus will be on her non-executive board work.

Zeitz sits as deputy chair of Special Broadcasting Service Australia and chairperson of Defence Trailblazer, an industry, academic and government initiative to strengthen Australia’s defense capabilities through innovative technologies.
